modding the raider

i read pats mod and othe rones online. They said to sand down the axle so that when you crank it the threads won't break the plastic. Does this mean that if you do this the yoyo has no chance in breaking? It also said that like if u wanna reset the gap u can just put some metal spacers and crank em up.

They also said to place 1 metal spacer in between the yoyo when cranking and ti wont damage the yoyo.

By the way on short question, is there a certain process to clean 2a bearings cause I looked at the posts and someone mentioned anotehr way cause u cant clean them the same way that u do on 1 a yoyos. Ty.
