Longer No.9 axle available? Alex Kim!!

So there are 2 versions of No.9.

One is with the shorter axle, more common,
the other one accomodates longer axle.

I was stupid and filed down the longer axle.
Now the halves spin and spin, doesn't lock in place.
The halves comes apart when I throw down the yoyo.
It's not in playable condition.

I'm sure this problem will be solved if I can get a hold of
a new axle for it, which is the longer axle.

I have no idea where to get the axle though.

Go to a good hardware store like Ace and bring your Number 9. Go to the fastener department and look for setscrews. Find one that fits your yo-yo, buy it, and leave the store. Usually there is a display with various internally and externally threaded rods attached to it. This can be a useful tool for determining what size setscrew you want. If none of the setscrews are long enough for you, remember that you can also buy a bolt of the correct size and saw its head off.

Mcmaster carr has odd sized fasteners. If you cant find them at ace try there. You have to buy an entire box though.
