There is a post around here somewhere that actually tells you how to make them. Try the "for the modders section"

True but you can always put a worn out pad behind it if you get a thin one. It also depends on the yoyo (spacer system etc.). If the response from them feels good, it's worth the hassle of putting a worn out sticker behind it. If you are making them yourself you can always try to pour them a little thicker.

Or, you can just PM Bazmonkey. He posts of the forum. He is way behind on personal orders, because he had a lot he had to make for the Eetsits.

Actually, I'm caught up, I just forgot to tell you Sorry... The pads I've been making, the pads YYN has, have never caused any sort of slipping in anything other than the Eetsit, and that's for reasons that involve the yo-yo in particular. Only a handful of yo-yos are constructed such that string-slipping can even happen. I eyeball the amount of, uh, goo I use. They come out fairly consistent, and whether or not they're "thin" or "thick", they're all as thin or thinner than thin dif pads, to give you an idea of how thin they are. They're thin stickers, period. The issue with the Eetsit and my pads comes from my stickers being cut just a wee bigger on the inside for easy placement. Combined with the thinner stickers, and how the Eetsit is constructed, that's the slippage.

It's hard to work with, so I wouldn't try myself... However, If someone were to like, take a rubber o-ring, cover it in a big blob of silicone (the gasket maker kind, not the flowable stuff), and then slice that in half and pull the ring out, you'd end up with a mold of an o-ring that wouldn't stick to the plastidip. From that, you could maybe make something...
