This is a BB'ed Superwide for Azn it was red and had a small amount of rim damage so it had a small amount of sanding and then some BB to get this.

And before it is said yes i do know about the black dots they are actually balled up paper towels. they will wipe off.

This is a Soda blasted 888 for Azn it was blue had rim damage so i sanded and polished the whole thing before blasting

Lol. That kind of gave me a pain in my chest to be honest. The reality that my Superstar is undergoing changes for the better just hit me lol. I can't wait to get this back and anodized. I've started developing ideas. I will probably share them (artistically) eventually to get some feedback.

I had a few. I was thinking  Black base with Gunmetal, red and clear anno splash. One half Green and Yellow, the other Blue and red (Gunstar Heroes themed), amongst others.

WOW! That 888 is SO clean... I really didn't like how 888s looked before, just kinda boring, but with that blast on it it's just beautiful.

"Splashed" Superestar (and yes i know it is faint) for GunstarHero. was green with grooves.

Ok guys this was a test today to try "splashing" its really faint and im not even sure i like it yet. if you look on the photos you can see where there is no blast at all but again this is very faint. mostly because soda doesnt pit as deep. Tell me what you guys think its a work in progress and i can only learn by doing.

Interesting idea - I've wondered if/when someone would try splashing a blast job. I can kind of see it; I'm sure it's much more visible in person, and it would be more visible on a more polished yoyo probably, but I think it could benefit from the kind of "sparkle blasting" you've been doing previously.

Man I really dig the look of that. It's so clean. I love how it achieves that "frosted metal" look but not like it's caked on. If that makes any sense. I can't see the splash on my iPod but the pictures you do have look great man. I'm stoked to get this back! I'm glad you went with the soda last as well I love the feel of it.

Im really excited that you like it. And i have one or two last things of good news. It grinds so smooth and i feel that its even smoother than it was. "and looks a whole lot awesomer!!!"

It definitely looks awesome. It's like a ghost splash, but with texture! Do that with a really highly polished yoyo and then have it anodized a solid color, so the one color would have two different appearances based on where the blasting was. It would be so friggin' COOL!
