So i just got my Lime green Northstar brand new have not even thrown it yet and its already doing the same crap my last one did. when i take it apart the bearing seat spacer is stuck on the bearing so now its very difficult to take apart and i cant get the spacer off the bearing i dont want to force it off, i dont want to break, i just want it to function like its suppose to. And what are those indentations on the yoyo? Not very happy right now.

I've generally used a butter knife or something similar to remove the YYF spacers when they are stuck to the bearing. Put the knife in the little groove between the bearing and spacer and roll it on a table.

The indentations are just mold marks, my northstar has them too.

And I'm guessing that those marks are tuning marks. All of these are normal. And all this shouldn't affect play.

If you have a problem, it might be more wise to send an e-mail to the company that makes the yoyo instead of getting angry on a public message board.

Ok did the butterknife trick after a bit of scuffing i was able to pry the bearing off the seat ... only to have the other seat come out and that is stuck to the bearing also... so here i go with the butter knife again.

I used pliers.... Yeah I scraped the spacers up, and yeah I accidentally partially stripped the axel, and yeah it's resale value is probably $3 now, but it still plays fine

Exactly. They all do until someone who doesn't know what they're doing gets in there with a knife. Spacers get stuck on many plastic yoyos. It's happened to me on my FH2 a hundred times. You just pry them off, screw it back together, and keep throwing it.

Why did you need to mess with the bearing if you just got it? Just play it.

because it's one of those fo-KK bearings YYF puts in all of their yo-yos. They mess up the response, at least in my uses. I immediately remove them before using anything I buy from Ben.

Because i dont like the stock bearing. i did not know this was a crime to want to change out a bearing.

Look bottom line is this Yoyos will require (weather by choice or from wear and tear) bearing changing, response changing maybe even axles etc. this is unavoidable. my point is that you should be able to make these changes with some amount of efficiency and not having to damage some small parts of the yoyo in the process.
