888 Vibe
« on: February 26, 2011, 12:36:27 AM » |

As the title says, my 888 vibes sometimes. Its not a massive vibe, but you can see it vibe a lil. Even though it's only a little vibe, it still bothers me a lot. The bearing seat on one half of the yoyo is very tight, I can't put the bearing on that side. I have to put the bearing on the other side and screw in the yoyo together to get it to work. Is this the cause of vibe? How can I fix it? Please help!

nothing you can do for that. check the axle, see if it rolls flat, otherwise, you're stuck with a vibey 888.

he means to take the axle out and roll it on a flat surface to see if it rolls straight if it rolls straight then there is no problem if it doesn't roll straight then there is a problem with the axle and you should replace it

So how do I remove my axle?

Pliers and twist if it's too tight, just be careful not to damage it. If it's loose enough just unscrew with your fingers

Alright, I'll try that later. But, when I throw my 888, and when there's vibe, it just vibes for a short while and stops after that. Should I worry about this?

Yes, stock bearing. It came with a CTB 888's come with spec bearings. did you buy it second hand? The newer runs come with a Center-Trac, or at least some of the more recent runs.
