Hi, My Name is Kenny

You can take the hubstacks off. Usually 888's play great without stacks. Or if you just want a new yyf with a similar shape, try a 44.

the dv888 is based off of the buzon dv8.
The 888 without hubstacks is basically a boss. or try a 44, as all three of these share a basic shape.

I'd look for an 888 on the BST's if a new one is too expensive. They are a pretty common yoyo, and I see them for sale pretty often. But the DV888 is also an amazing throw, it's just an entirely different creature from the 888.

If you got the oring off, than the bearing should just slide off the post

Wrap a string around the bearing letting the string slide under the bearing. Pull.

It does work. Just keep at it. Try it with the string on one side, then rotate it and try again. It will eventually come off.

Is the hub clean, like above the bearing, its probably a very close fit, so anything that gets in there will cause you grief, like rubbed off ano, etc.... Getting bearings of can be a pain in the butt at times. Make sure the post/hub/nub is clean, if you are able to push the bearing down at all, do that and clean the post above it . May help, may not. Im sure there are more solutions, perhaps heating or freezing the yoyo, Im not sure which one youll need to investigate.

Heating causes metal to expand, so you will want to freeze it

Heating causes metal to expand, so you will want to freeze it True but as the post shrinks so will the bearing lol They are different metals which I assume causes them to shrink at a different speed. This method is a known method that works.
