888 problem

I just put new responce pads on my 888 and it was working fine... Then after an hour or 2 of yoyoing it became realy responsive:( i just berly tug on it and it comes back to my hand, i tryed puting a drop of yoyojam thin lube on the bearing and it dident do anything... Any1 know whats wronge?

try cleaning the bearing. search it up here.

Either you got something in the bearing and it needs a clean..
Or the new response just needs breaking in (playing lots)

You'll also want to check to see if the response pads are sticking out of the recess. If they are, just take the head of a pin or something and flatten the pad by pushing it down and moving in a circular motion a few times. You want that thing to be flush with the wall outside the groove.

The pads wont go in Sad i think the sticky part fron the original pads r still in there under the new pads

scrape it out with a toothpick. takes a bit of work. try a bit of rubbing alcohol on a swab.
