I can't get any sort of pad to fit in my Severe

The silicone in my yoyofactory severe came out and now I cant seem to get any sort of pad to actually stick to the bottom of the recess. What should I do? Buy more silicone and try it or glue in the pad or what? Any help is appreciated!

well clean the surface with some alcahol.   You may have some oils in there.

I'd just resilicone it. the lasering in the groove makes it last especially long.
