Silicone a DNA?

Hey guys
I own a yyf DNA
It has a pad response system. My stock kpads have come off. Should I silicone it?
I heard people saying you cant silicone pads and you can only silicone o rings like ones on yyjs.
I would really appreciate your help.

yeah, one of my DNAs is siliconed, and the other one uses thin theory pads.

both work perfectly.
