« on: December 13, 2010, 04:27:54 PM »

Hey guys, i got a new superstar and it only spins for 15 seconds. I used teflon tape on the axle and it messed it up even more so i took it off and now i don't know what to do. there is still a little bit left on the axle...what should I do/how do i fix this. I tried putting nubs and it still spins for only 15 seconds. Please help. Cry

Step 1: crank arm back and make a muscle

Step 2: throw very hard

teflon tape has NO purpose on a superstar.

This is what happens when you give a kid too much money, and not enough knowledge.

Learn how to throw and bind properly first. Takes a lot of time and practice to get a basic throw down. Asking for any other kind of help is pointless if you don't know how to throw. You may have messed up your bearing trying to mess around with the yoyo, so that may affect its spin time.

The superstar needs NOTHING to make it smoother, stable, or anything.

If you read this, get off the internet and learn how to throw the yoyo first.

I know how to bind but why is the superstar responsive at times?

yeah, just throw in the bearing, screw the yoyo together, and throw. don't worry about your yoyo too much unless anything starts falling off... especially yoyofactory. they're pretty durable.
