lol, well i know you know 10 times more than i do about modding and doing anythang like that, but this was done on a wheel if that makes sense. i had to do it by hand and spin the yoyo myself which caused it not to be as even, im redoing it tonight i will post the results and hopefull i want get any smart comments

So i bought some 800-2000 grit sandpaper, some mothers to polish it up and heres the result. i took my time at it but as you can see their are a fine lines, how do i get these out exactly? do i need to get to 2500 grit? thanks

Mo ought to get in on this, he's the master of polish. I know in the past he's used wet paper to polish (soak the sandpaper in water before use). I've also used jeweler's rouge on metals and gotten a pretty nice shine. I'll turn the half fast enough to get the rouge to sort of "melt" onto the yo-yo surface, then work the rouge in with a cloth while the half is still spinning.

I couldn't agree more. Mo's managed to make things look mirror quality.

All you need is polishing compound, a buffing wheel and a power drill. I polished a Crossbones to mirror finish w/ that and I'm trying to find the pic... Edit: Found it! Before:  After:
