Someone claimed the Gold with Black splash available here via Black Friday special are BB'd.

The ones another overseas site got are indeed beadblasted in this colorway, but I'm pretty sure it would SAY if it was...

Right?!?

both the giants edition AND the gold with black splash are BB'd since its pretty easy to tell the masked off areas in the pics

I could only tell that the Gold with Black was Bead Blasted, the Orange with Black didn't look like it, but I could be wrong.

My stars. I love them both, but the Superstar is mine forever. Custom Satined for myself. I think it looks a little like an all black Winston, but thats just me.

Btw: This thread needs pics more.

If anyone wants my Mint Stackless Sorry Mark, I'm taking offers for trades or I'll sell at a fair price. I'll be getting a BB'd one soon so I don't need other yoyos...

Unless it really is good for 5A...Never even bothered to try it.

Jesus Christ Superstar was a 70s musical. That's the only connection I can think of.

superstar was my first high performance metal, I got it for an end of school gift and was amazed by it, it's beeen my fav for ever!  But it now has some competition in my colection, it's still going strong tho, if you don't have 1 get the BB'ed ones and treasure it.
P.S. I got purple/blue acid wash (still grinds great Afro).

Finally got the hookup for my BB'd one from an unexpected source.  Grin

So grateful. Something about playing a Superstar just makes you appreciate yoyoing that much more. It's just...

I don't know actually. What do you guys love most about your Superstar? I love the shape/stability during combos. The BB is a nice touch as well.

Nice score on the BB'd Superstar!

I love my Superstar without stacks because it is stable, fast, agile, long spinning, nice amount of float, smooth, and all around performer. It makes learning tricks easier than a lot of my other metals due to how forgiving it is to sloppy play.

I also love it because it was my first metal and has proven to be durable and still remain smooth. It kisses the concrete on occasion and asks for more.

I need to find a bead blasted one some day.
