So I just recently got a PGM2 and a StarLite. They're both great yoyo's (even though the StarLite is more balanced and has longer spin times) but I've been having some little problems with them. First of all I already cleaned the bearings in mineral spirits and used one drop of thin lube on each. The PGM2 is now very quiet and the StarLite is almost louder than it was before (PGM2 has a normal bearing, StarLite has a center trak) is this normal? Also the StarLite started getting heavy tug responsive today, after I cleaned it it was like this for a little bit but then it stopped, now it's doing it again and I don't know why. Last question is weather I can silicone both of these yoyo's or not. Thanks in advance for any help, let me know if you need any info I left out -- Hadoe
EDIT: How do I get a spacer off of the bearing when I take the bearing out for cleaning? I ended up scratching the spacer so much the StarLite has a bad vibe now, I ordered new spacers so that should be fine but I just want to know how to get them off with out any damage in the future.

You can silicone both. i have done so with great sucess on a pgmV2. as for the center trac, i am not sure, but i hear that they are OBNOXIOUSLY loud when dry/broken in.

Alright I think the StarLite might be a little responsive because the pads seem to be falling out a little bit, off to the store to get some RTV! Also thanks for telling me about the center trac, I was worried there was something wrong with it.

Use a push pin to separate the spacers from the bearing. There's a video somewhere (either from YYN, or YYF - I can't recall) demonstrating this.
