44 axle problem
« on: November 07, 2010, 02:32:00 PM »

So I bought a YYF 44 during the Halloween sale. Used it for a day. Took it apart, put it back together. Second time I did that, it made a nails on chalkboard squeal. Now the axle will continually screw into its side and it nearly impossible to screw it back together. Any advice? It seems every yoyo I have develops a problem axle, it's infuriating.

So your yoyo wont screw in?

1. The screeching is the bearing seat breaking in, happens with every yoyofactory metal I've owned.
2.  You may have stripped the axle, or the threading of the yoyo.  The smaller axles are prone to that.

What can I do if it's stripped?

If the axle is stripped, buy a new one.
If the yoyo is stripped, contact yoyofactoryben or you might be out of luck!
