Ripstik anyone?

Anyone play ripstik? I've just got one on the air, I know some skaters thing it's --- or suck or etc, but I think it's pretty good, I am still learning only have own it for less than a week. I broke my arm few years ago off a skateboard and haven't ride since then. Anyway I really enjoy ripstik air and are learning tricks, and I do it when playing yoyo too!

I used to ripstick all the time, the road next to mine was paved so my friends and i would to skate there.

I have a WaveBoard. essentially the same thing(?).  I really like mine, but yeah.  Around my area, people generally look at it as --- or uncool or whatever.  But it's fun to me.  Now that I think of it, I need new wheels lol.

yeah its pretty important to change at least your back wheel when it begins to wear down, just switching the two is an alright temp solution. also for those that have a wave board and not ripstik, i recommend going to a skate store and replacing the bearings with ABEC 7s, as they can take a lot of pressure and strain. If you dont have access to better bearings, i dont recommend going any faster than 20 mph for any amount of time, i found out the hard way that wave boards only have 5s. Also, does anyone know if blade boards are ever going to become commercially available?

there is not selling ripstick but i have an oxeloboard.

Freeline Skates... Same thing, less restrictions, a lot harder.

I ripstik and walk the dog (yoyo trick) at the same time.  I have a blue ripstik.  You know how on the ADs they say you can turn around a dime?  Yeah, I tried doing that too.

I've got a black Ripstik G.  I've tried yo-yoing and riding at the same time.....long story..  I can't do much on it only front/back manuals, and have both feet on one side.

True but not everyone can jump from board to board or do front manual and mback manuel till the board hits the ground and keep going

Yeah, I'm working on the board to board thing, and riding lefty so I can do a reverse atm.
