Yoyochucker, it takes a lot to get an angry reaction from me and I have been pounding my keyboard for 10 minutes spitting a  type based infirno at you.  I want to spit nails.  There are not enough words in language on a whole for how I want to direct a   viniger and laser storm at you in response to your "research".
Next time you do "research" make sure your sources aren't wearing tinfoil hats.
As you can imagine, those of us that have personally looked down the buisness end of the  cancer cannon do not agree with you.

as i said earliar i support Heath 150% on this, but i did have a friend of mine who had cancer and she got a special belt that she wore so many hours a day it destroyed the cancer cells for now, but i dont remeber exactly but she said the guy who created the belt had disapeared or something, (i know this sounds very far fetched but its the truth) and i think we should have the technology i would think to find a cure if not soon.  But once again i hope this turns out great! good luck heath!

However, at the same time, he is merely worried about heath..do take it that way. He is not wading away anyone to help, merely telling Heath his side of an opinion.

My Opinion: Heath, GO. FOR. BROKE. Seriously this is a generious thing to be doing and there will be people that will help. However, do not expect everyone to help considering of their own opinion. I can share my own experience when I did the "yoyo for kids/yoyo santa" charity thing a few years ago and there was a number of people against it.

I'm going to see if I have any Raw yoyos, I know specifically I had some raw 888s I would glady donate for the cause....and then probably re-buy

I agree with zammy hear. All those "F" Bombs are totally unecessary and why treat each other like that. He isnt dissing Heath in anyway just stating what he thinks. If anything he applauds Heath for at least trying.

I personally never read Yoyochucker's posts, just because he's a grown man who suffers from diarrhea of the mouth, and has the mental capacity of a puerile child.  In this instance tho, it looks like he's venting, because hes obviously lost someone and needs to blame someone.  Some people feel better thinking there's a conspiracy or it's someone's fault.  Let him vent.

On a more related note, aside from my donation, heath.  let me know if you need any help setting anything up.

i personally dont understand how this much hate can be generated on a thread about finding a cure for cancer. everyones entitled to their opinions, though, going to a thread full of people who are still grieving the deaths of loved ones and saying there is no hope wouldnt be how i go about sharing my opinion

My 34 year old wife had cancer last year, and through a mighty battle of ups and downs now at 36 and just a few months away from her last cancer related surgery is cancer free.  A fight won due to science and research on her side.  She has used trial drugs (at no expense to us) along with the already proven chemotherapy, radiation, and surgerys.  Cancer sucks and the treatments are pounding but she let them use her for research studies (and currently does) as she puts it "to help make cancer easier to treat for others".  It is attitudes like hers and active supporters of a thread like this that will help make a difference in the treatments for cancer patients and ultimatly find a cure. 

Oh yeah, I am sure the staff over at Dana Farber Cancer Inst. in Boston would gladly let you find a cure.  The need for healthcare, unfortunatly, will never decline.

My BEST FRIEND has cancer right now. Its these types of things that helped with research to save him the first time he got it. Yoyochucker, Please dont post on a thread where so many people have been effected by loved ones with cancer if it isnt going to be positive. Saying that donations are futile really hurts me. Please dont rant about your stupid conspiracy theories. EVERYTHING HELPS!!!!!!! Get that through your head.

Anyway, Heath, this means so much to me. Im sure that my friend will be absolutley delighted to know that the community I am part of is doing its part to help him.

I lost my great aunt to cancer. My older sister had cancer(lived) , my grandpa had cancer(lived) , and my aunt has cancer but it is currently dormant (not enough cancer cells to really affect her). Seeing what Cancer can do to loved ones is devistating, seeing a cure come up that does not affect teh people almost as much as the thing it's fighting would be one of the best things I will hopefully live to see. I will probably donate a raw yoyo Heath.

Heath, check with your anodizer to see if they will do the Alph. I was going to do one on a gruntbull run and they told me to do a different yo-yo because the Alph is 7075 aluminum.

7075 isn't a problem, it just requires an anodizer who knows how to work with it.. it anodizes quite well but it doesn't anodize exactly the same as 6061 so they just need to know what alloy it is.
