Pictures of the Sky Walker have been floating around for a while now. Thanks to Heath’s “Open Source” style, the yo-yo community has had the privilege of seeing the Sky Walker at nearly every stage of development. From early CAD drawings to the tables at the Bay Area Classic, every stage of the Sky Walker was public. It was Heath’s first yo-yo and after almost not coming out, after nearly a year of anticipation and curiosity, the Sky Walker finally emerged. May, 2010, Bay Area Classics. The first retail run of the Sky Walker was released.

Good review, it seems like this won't become your go-to throw, but it's good that it grew on you. Personally, I think this yoyo is the best yoyo I've ever played. One of the smoothest too. But everyone's preferences are different, and its good to see a review that isn't solely positive(especially due to the hype death star that Vs NYYC has become...). I understand that it grew on him. I'm just saying that if it was his favorite yoyo of all time, he would have mentioned it. I was concentrating on how he addressed various things that didn't fit his play style/weren't used to, and how he mentioned all these things in an unbiased way. Thus, anyone paging thru reviews can come across one thats a little more productively critical than most of the others.

 For instance, my review of the skywalker (http://www.yoyonation.com/talk/index.php/topic,84112.0.html ) simply said that I thought it was the best yoyo Ive ever played, ever(and it is, though thats just my opinion). And thats pretty much all I said. I guess that sometimes things have that "WOW" factor the moment you pick it up, which was my experience with the skywalker. And other people don't get that, and have to mess around with it for a bit before they find the allure.
