How to take apart and clean a Henry's Viper?
« on: August 18, 2010, 05:36:23 PM »

Hi all,

I've been playing a Henrys Viper (the original) and I got my girlfriends hair stuck in it. That'll teach me for taunting her Smiley Anyway, there's a hair tangled up in the bearing and It's slowing down my yoyo bigtime.

Has anyone ever figured out how to get the bearing off this yoyo or know how to clean it?

If not, any advice on cleaning a bearing while it's still attached to the axle?

Thanks, Justin

Use pliers and grip the o-ring that is on the AXYS bearing/axle system. Or you can take the o-ring off and use a wrench.

Ok, cheers. It must just take brute force. I did a bit of damage to it with some pliers last time I tried, but I shall try again!

Thanks, Justin
