I love YoYoNation, I love General-Yo, and I love red yo-yos...but I don't love this. For one, where's the "deep beadblast" that I'm s excited about on these? And why is "YoYoNation" upside down when nothing else is? And what is the significance of writing "mini" in what I'm guessing are rupees from Zelda? It just sort of makes it really hard to see. |

DB the troll moderator strikes again.  I think that red finish is really beautiful, as it was on the original 5 Star, but I certainly wouldn't choose that particular Mini-Star over one of the beadblasted ones. And I'm with you on the aesthetics of the lettering. But I bet some folks will dig it - especially since not everyone is into grinds, and since it'll probably be super limited. |

The Candy apple red is a result of team yoyo-nation requesting the high polished finish. It is very similar to the original 5*. There are only 20 of these going out. I always wanted to do something special for YYN, and here it is. I made them as smooth as smooth can be. The bearings are tight like the original 5* also, so be careful removing them. These are show pieces that are incredibly beautiful. The Graphics are from YYN provided artist Rafael Esquer from alfalfa studio. This collaboration was an exciting and fun experience for both companies.  |
