oxy 3vo bearing removal?

im just curious if theres a way to remove the oxy 3vo's bearing. i tried the traditional way with little effect, didnt know if i should force it anymore.
is there a trick to getting this thing out?

did you take off the orings on the axle before trying to get it off?
