CLYW *Lumberjack Thread* - It's a CLYW Day!

Hey everyone!!

I just wanted to take an opportunity to start up this OFFICIAL CLYW thread! This will become your one-stop thread at YoYoNation for all CLYW Inc. news, upcoming release info, team info ...

Over the last couple months we've been pretty quiet with releases ... but no longer!!  On June 1st we're going to be releasing a brand new return top called the Gnarwhal at YoYoNation!!!  By the few people that have already tried it, we've been told time and again how it's the best CLYW to date.  I guess we'll let you be the judge of that.  There are a couple Gnarwhals currently being tested so hopefully some reviews will pop up soon.

I'm really excited for this release!!


Everything has been going really well at the Lodge ... here's a bit of what we've been up to:

- Krisztian just placed 1st at a contest in Prague over the weekend.  CONGRATS!!!  We're so proud of you!!

- Elliot and Zach will be representing the Lodge at BAC in San Francisco this coming weekend.  Zach recently suffered a minor longboarding accident, but he assured us that he's good to go and will be tip top by the weekend.

- Instead of going to BAC this year I will be heading to Elk Point, Alberta where I'll be doing a canoe, bike and run race that travels the route that fur trader David Thompson took over 200 years ago!!  There will be lots of plaid and axe tossing!!  Can't wait!!!

- We have a new contest on our blog called 'Arts + Crafts vs Show & Tell' where we are giving away 2 Gnarwhals, check it out!!  www.clyw.ca

- We should be starting the 2nd prototype of Alex Berenguel's signature edition 'the Sasquatch' any day now.  It's basically a full sized version of the Gnarwhal, but with hair over 100% of its body ... just kidding just kidding.  Hmmm ... actually that would be pretty neat if we did glue hair all over it wouldn't it?

- We're also planning limited edition Peaks for Krisztian, Elliot and Adam with custom colourways that they picked for themselves.  The box art will be done by Elliot ... it looks sooooooo good so far!!!

- We're hoping to have more Wooly Marmots and Campfires coming soon as well.

- In the horizon we are planning some exciting new releases: 'the Chief' and 'the Bonfire' ... Can't wait!!

Making it a plastic would be great ... but unfortunately we're still a ways off from making a plastic.  This will be out of aluminum.

However, I'd like to suggest a colorway for the next run of wooly marmots to be at the nation. Wolf Lake. same as the Peaks. IMO, that was one of the best colorways you ever did, and I'd love to see it on my favorite CLYW return top.

Also, I'd like to say thank you for the 3rd generation Peak. In the past, I was never a huge fan of the Peaks, and I couldn't put my finger on why, but I picked up a 3rd Gen Peak over the weekend, and I have not put it down since. Whatever you did to tweak it was absolutely perfect. 

Lastly, I'd like to make a Shoutout to Elliot Jackson for being awesome, and good luck at BAC!
