Haha Altoona is a bit of a hike. Are you going to the Penn State branch campus there?

Personally, I'm about 20 minutes outside of the city in these goofy suburbs, but I go to college at the University of Pittsburgh. If anybody is looking to get something started up, I'm game.

Just a heads up, we'll be having the Ohio State Contest on July 31st. I know it's a couple hours drive for you guys, but I'm working on getting a solid turnout for the first year.

We'd love to have you guys over for the event and after-party. Smiley

I'm Definatly trying to meet up with some yoyoers.  I live just outside the city in Tarentum if you ever heard of it.  Its right next to New Kensington.  I've just gotten back into yoyoing in the last couple months but i yoyo a couple hours a day and fell in love with it all over again.  Let me know whats up.  also is there any stores around the pittsburgh area that sell intermediate to advanced yo yo's? i cant seem to find any. The only luck I've had with yoyos around here is Toys 'R Us, and the best you'll get there is a Duncan Freehand 2.

Toys 'R Us is the only one I've had any luck with. And you're only lookin' at a Freehand 2 there.

I've been meaning to add a free hand to my collection, but i'm looking for more high profile yoyo's.  Looks like i'm stuck to online purchases.  Lol i'm just a lil impatient and i hate waiting for the mail.  Another thing that would be nice would to be able to hold the yoyo in my hand and compare physically the yoyo's i'm thinking about buying.  I mean the onlinie sites such as this one do a pretty good job when they describe the yoyo and its spec's, but nothing can compare to holding the yoyo in your hand before you buy it.  I'm waiting on a legacy in the mail right now.  I unfortunatly purchased a Henrys Viper, and i am a little upset on its performance. If I throw a Hard sleeper, It will only last for 40 seconds before it spins out.  Oh well i guess live and learn.  I'm probably going to buy my first metal this upcoming paycheck.  I'm thinking about either a yoyofactory dv888 large bearing, a yoyojam Trinity, or a one drop Y factor.  I've heard alot of good reviews on the one drop Y factor and swaying more towards that one.  I donno we'll see.  Holla at me Pittsburgh
