Night Moves 1/2/4, Shockwave 2/3, Spinmaster 2/3, and Sirius all have very similar shapes.
Oh yeah, and the Matrixx had that shape too.

I love YYJ plastics and every plastic/metal hybrid I've thrown.  Thank you for your amazing yoyos, each one I've thrown shines of quality design and materials.

I think there are definately things that could be improved on, one of which have been suggested earlier that I agree with:

No more hybrid response.  It works fine, but I just don't like it as much as other YYJ response systems.

And some new complaints:

I don't particularly like the adjustable gap, even though it is the best system I've tried.  Every YYJ I've had with the adjustable gap, once thrown for a while (atleast a couple months of average play) I've found that the bearing seat wears so the bearing works itself off of it just enough to give off a rumbly vibrating sound.  If there wasn't space for that bearing to go (when it's adjusted for a wider gap) then it wouldn't be a problem for me.

This is a small gripe: Either improve the printing of your cap art or don't try to make such light color differences in them.  My lyn fury (with the new cap art) and my brothers x-con have small font that's just slightly darker than the background, with a muddy print?  It just looks bad.  It might be worth the extra effort just to improve the cap art work all together.  The yoyos are rad!  Caps come off as cheap.

I really enjoy all the diferent color options that YYJ has, it's great to get that option when your buying one.  Keep that up.  But I would agree that I'd like to see more new designs, even if it meant just a few more a year.

Overall, though, I couldn't be more happy with how all my YYJ's play, and that's really what's important.  I would not change the gap sizes, because the double-o rings fill it up so much anyway.  Double-o rings are great for beginers, but I really like the flush sili in the legacy, and would like to see it more.  I just tear out the o rings now to sili them anyway.

You should make a yoyo with Speeder/Meteor shape that wieghts 65 grams and that is celcon with internal weight rings like the Legacy.

Thank you for posting your thoughts!
Unfortunately, I just do customer support, so I don't have a power to tell YoYoJam what to make, but I will let them know about what you guys are looking for so they can keep it in their mind when they are trying to make a new model. About the hybrid response system, most of the models with hybrid system were made while ago and we haven't produced yoyos with hybrid response recently. We are working on many new yoyos which you guys won't be disappointed.

Can't wait. I'm a big fan of new models like the Night Moves 5. I'd like to add one more vote in favor of keeping the hybrid response as an option - I like it, in part because I like variety, but I know it's not everyone's cup of tea. It'd be neat, for example, to be able to choose between a dual o-ring or hybrid Dark Magic, like you can with the Hitman.

My suggestions
no more polycarb. Trash it. use celcon instead.
no more hybrid. dual-o. all the way.
on average, bigger fixed gaps, but include or a slim (but not half-size) bearing.
holographic caps- good stuff. put them on everything
Less highwalling, more hourglass shapes. I understand there may be structual problems with this.

Move the caps outward so it doesn't screw up weight distribution. Maybe I'm wrong.

I don't see what people have a problem with hybrid
especially in the DM
I played with my friends DarkMagic and it was really smooth and I really liked it. So I don't really know why people have a problem with it. Now I can understand if people want less hybrid but I mean you should keep a couple yoyos with it.

I really like the darkmagic and the newbreed though  Afro good yoyos

The Hybrid response has nothing to do with how smooth the yoyo is on our terms. Of course, it'll rub on the string and cause some sort of string vibe MAYBE, but the real issue is in the response itself. I would rather have a dual o-ring response for SILICONE response, because it is unresponsive, yet binds tightly. With Hybrid, it's a bit more responsive and snaggier. That's all up to the player, and I wouldn't mind having both hybrid and dual o-ring, but to play seriously I would want dual o-ring.

symbolically, too, hybrid is just backward, at least in my eyes. It's an outdated technology, and yoyos these days can do so much more.

I like the hybrid response. Opens up loops very well. Yes it causes some string vibe, but variety is the spice of life.

Please make some new spin tops! Or even the old ones
