4XL Questions...

Well, I am getting a 4XL soon and I had a couple questions...

How much does the 4XL weigh without jimmy hats?

Does it feel to light with out J-Hats?

Can it accept silicone? Also, what pads do you like in the 4XL?

Not sure on exact weight without jimmyhats, I think is around the 60gm mark.

I don't think it feels too light - but then I've played a Pacquiao.

yes it can accept silicone, but I like ghost pads in mine.

For me with or with out stacks the 4XL feels very floaty, a tad bit more solid with the stacks so I prefer it with them on.

Such a good yoyo. It CAN accept silicone and I usually do prefer silicone. But in this case I do enjoy pads. I have been searching for the right pad choice for awhile. I had ghost/chaz for a good long while and that works well. But then I tried Ghost/YYG Silicone Sticker and that works even better.

It feels fine without the jimmy hats and I prefer it that way.

it was worth the wait. I forget who said it, but someone described the 4xl sounding like a cat fight. I absolutely love the sound of all 4 bearings spinning.

It's an awesome yo-yo. Super smooth and just really pretty to look at. I polished it up as nicely as I could for you!

Personally, I prefer it beefcaked with the Jimmy Hats on. It feels a little bit too light without the Jimmy Hats on - and plays a little bit awkwardly in my opinion. Currently, there's a Diff Pad and a thin One Drop silicone pad in there, which I really like. Keeps the yo-yo unresponsive enough for Jimmy Hat grabs. I really hope you like it. I'm sad to see it go.
