Problem with beefcake mod
« on: March 08, 2010, 05:35:51 PM »

I trie to do the beefcake mod on my mosquito but it went horribly wrong. I sanded the spacer alot, almost until they would get ruined and the gap was too big, like
10.3 mm and my thumb got a red mark and then it started bleeding because of the force and friction of sanding the spacers. Is it only on FHZ that beefcake can be done?

Seeing as the mosquito uses thin spacers you won't be able to beefcake it with much success.

If your looking to widen the gap, you could highwall it.  But if you must have beefcake, you will need to deepen the bearing seat and use the thinnest spacers.
