What kind of drill bit do I need for a silicone recess? And what is a good size to use on duncan yoyos?

you dont use a drill press for a recess. you need a lathe

false. if you're planning on using a drill press for a recess of any kind, you need to purchase either a router bit or an end mill. For pad recesses i'd reccommend either a 3/16" or 1/4" size bit, and a 1/8" size bit for a silicone recess. hope that helps.

ive never heard of recesses done on a drill press. but i have done one on a drill in a vise

As a matter of fact I thnk the first recess was done on a drill press. you would be surprised What kind of mods have been done on a drill press. I've seen weight ring mods, reshaping and others. Never think you know it all.
