Alright so I got this lio for a birthday present from my girlfriend. I've played it quite a bit and the bearing has finally crapped out on me, I've tried everything I can think of to fix it. Even tried lubing it up and breaking it in to no avail.
Since it is a nonstandard bearing size I was wondering where I would be able to get a new bearing for it. If anybody has any answers let me know as I'd love to be able to play it again.

KMK bearings are very sensitive to lube, whats it like when you run it dry?

Loud and crunchy sounding. In my experience the bearings that I have had that have sounded like this I've had to toss out.

its worth busting the shields off to see if there's any string fluff build up behind it.. You could track down (or borrow) a jewelery ultrasonic cleaning bath, the best thing to clean bearing with ever
If all else fails and you're gonna throw it away, its always worth going with the hot water/toothbrush/soap/scrub method
I'll shoot you a pm with a place that sells replacements

Also you can look in RC shops for a new bearing. It is rather common in the Traxxas line.

Thanks for all the help guys. I randomly decided to throw it to see exactly how bad it was and then blew it out with compressed air one more time and that seemed to do the trick. Hopefully it last for awhile.

Isn't there a drinking straw trick?
I've heard you can cut the end of a drinking straw to fit into the bearing seat and that will make any C bearing fit snug...
(it might be the other way around though...Lio bearing in other yoyos. Can anyone confirm?)

It pretty much only works on oxys, the bearing sits directly on the axle like the first run G5/titty twister does
