Whats the deal with that axle?
The axle is even shorter on the original Stargazer. It could fit inside of an bearing if you placed it in long ways.

Well I heard of people having problems with the stargazer axle, and I HATE short axle throws, my freerider had the shortest axle Ive ever played and man I had to check it every throw to make sure it wasnt about to fly off.

I'm pretty impressed by anyone who can look at a drawing and decide how well the yoyo will play.

I never had a problem with the axle, but was really surprised by how short it was. It's pretty crazy.

I had an original Stargazer and loved it. However, I did have an axle problem. My axle stripped the other insert and my yoyo was dead. I had only had it for about two months. And I absolutely loved the way it played. But from what I understand, they have improved on the axle problem. I really like the specs on their new one.

It doesnt matter if they are the same shape. Its a different size, weight, etc which makes it a completely different yoyo... What about bikes? They are the same shape yet they are all different. Im not sure what makes people think yoyos differ from every other product in the world. Everything cant (and doesnt have to be) different to be awesome. As long as its awesome and you enjoy throwing and looking at it then you should be happy that it is what it is.
If you change your outlook on life then everything is better.

Have you stripped or lost your axle? PM me. I have brand new replacement axles for just about any newer metal yoyo for $2.50 shipped.

I'm going to have to disagree. Shape-hocking is the reason I hate YYF so much. Though it's MORE acceptable when it's from a company like this, it would still be nice to see some variation.

They dont do things just for ------- and giggles. They dont do things to piss others off. They make yoyos that everyone can buy and play. People wanted "smooth" yoyos, they made "smooth" yoyos. People didnt want rim- dipped yoyos so they stopped making rim- dipped yoyos... Its all in what the community wants. Isnt that what you SHOULD be looking for in a company?

Sure, but it's not just the shape-hocking that causes me to dislike YYF. It's really their ridiculous hypocrisy. They bag on Chinese stuff so much, and then they move production to China. And remember how the raised ridge on the 888 was meant to add rim weight according to Ben? When another company (China-Yu) added this ridge to their Sonic Goddess prototype, Ben said "Why use a non-functioning stylistic element on another yoyo" or something like that, completely going back on his own words. Cheap ano, ridiculous markup, and many other factors also contribute to my hatred.

Boring? YYF is THE single most boring company out there. Thousands of each of their yoyos made, everyone has one. I much prefer companies like CLYW, ILYY, and SPYY.

Uh....... I guess they are going to ship the yoyos overseas; 1 at a time. hahahahahahaha
Supply..................... Demand <> You want a supply; they demand 'a price'. If..................... IF NOBODY bought the yoyos; I am sure the prices could/would be ' adjusted'. If people want to buy Fine playing yoyos;;; if you want to play you have to pay. This is Not Rocket Science.
> The Quality of their yoyos is very High. The Quantity of their yoyos is limited. They can get what they Ask.
>I think everyone pretty much would agree with me that they want to pay no more for a yoyo then they have to. Yoyocreation does not seem to be catering to the folks on a Budget. They seem to focus more on the Discriminating Yoer or Collector that will jump in to get one or be left out to talk about 'wishing they could have afforded to buy one.
> Remember back when the Catch 22's came out from Yoyofactory??? 450 bucks................ period. (several went for less at Worlds I think... ) A total of about 70 something were made and every single one of them sold. Look at the Ti Oxy yoyo... 549 plus shipping<<< every one Pat puts up Sells. One Drop put up 50 Sovereigns........... for a little less than 200 <> they sold out in 5 minutes. The sad news is that Chevy is not going to reduce the price of a New Corvette so more people can afford to buy one; hahahahaha.
Reality is a ----- sometimes. It would be nice to be able to afford to buy one of everything. Just sayin
PS... a few bits of yoyo price history for the newer kids>>> about 10 years ago the SB2 Silver Bullet sold for 100 Bucks. At about the same time, the Playmaxx Cold Fusion sold for 150 bucks allllll day Lonnnnnng. < Just Guesstimate how much less money people were making back then.. Puts things in a better perspective that prices are not as high as it seems on some yoyos..The Duncan MG was 4oo/450 bucks there abouts.
A 1 dollar cup of coffee looks pretty expensive when you only have 25 cents.
All yoyos have one thing in common... None come with 'tricks included' lolol...
PS #2 Sonny; if you breathe deeep you can take in more oxygen to facilitate better Brain function. Everybody is entitled to their opinion but the way you talk about Yoyofactory is not an opinion... It is just plain Hate. Hate is a Shovel that digs its' own hole......... Like the one you are standing in.

So basically, what you're saying is that once a yoyo company becomes so successful that they can make thousands of yoyos, those yoyos are no longer good and should be boycotted??...even if their yoyos are up to the same standards as smaller companies? That's silly. sounds like you have a bad case of trying to be a nonconformist.
