I have some Quick Dry Electronic cleaner. It's in a spray can. Do you think it's safe to use on a yoyo bearing?
I have a yyj dark magic.

i wouldnt try it. if you need a readily available analogue, brake cleaner (not brake FLUID) is your best bet for cleaning, and sewing machine or trumpet valve oil is your best bet for lubing.

a) That's not a lube, that's a solvent (ie cleans bearings) b) It should be safe to use on the bearing. HOWEVER, it most likely does not play nice with the plastic your Dark Magic is made out of. If you want to use it take the bearing out of the yo-yo and make sure it's very very dry before putting it back in the yo-yo.

I think that we should sticky a topic that says to only use designated yo-yo lube for steel bearings.

Make sure that the quick dry stuff doesn't leave a residue. The grit it leaves behind will slowly eat your bearing.
