Right, I was just thinking if he could make some interesting preliminary cuts in the blanks, glue them, and then machine. It appears that he glues three segments together now for each half. |

Ya that's right... If I could get my hands on liquid resin acrylic, I could cut out something- IE a ligthning bolt, or in my case, Wankel rotor =P & cast it into the acrylic. &, being that it too would be acrylic, if it was off center it wouldn't throw off the balance, because it has the same density as the rest of the material |

Well I mean is it possible for someone to do it? No. Aluminum is what most people anodize (6061, preferably).  Really, no. You may be able to dye it though, similar to other plastic composites. In fact, I believe Landon does dye some of his stuff, if I'm not mistaken. In fact, these Colabricons may be dyed. |

Acrylic can be dyed pretty easy use the same steps as you would for a poly yoyo. I have dyed an acrylic cw and Landon has dyed plenty of his creations. Speaking of which I need more acrylic cw's Landon. I have some Ideas I want to try out btw Landon is the man, can't wait to get my acrylion back from him |
