Topic: Admins need to be on the forum more! (Read 761 times)

I contacted to the admins about the feedback situation 5 hours ago. No one is responding! I know it's only been 5 hours, but I would like this to get solved fast. I appreciate the mods for being online all the time, but where are the admins? I haven't seen admins posting on the forum for quite awhile. Only Sottle and yotoy was on here today!
Here are some requests.
1. An admin should be on here at least once in every 3 hours or so, not including their sleeptime.
2. More people should become admins. I know this isn't a easy thing to do, but I think this is needed.

5 hours ago for you was like 8 o clock. the admisn only come on during business hours. i think like 9-3

Just responded to you. Most of the Admins are stateside, and were asleep for the last few hours.
I know I don't post a LOT, but I comment/post where I see it might be appropriate...

I recently added another Admin (Nathan) for this very reason, but he has left for Prague and EYYC already and i am preparing to do the same. Please remember that some times there can be one off circumstances that slow us down. Most of the time we're pretty active and quick to deal with things. Just because this one off issue took a little while to resolve does not mean you can make sweeping statements about how the admins are not active.
For future reference, the most active admins in terms of forum moderation are myself, Bemis and Nathan. However, the mods have 99% of the capabilities that we have and will probably be able to deal with your problems just as quickly.

Thanks, Sottle! Really appreciated! When did Nathan become an admin? I didn't know that. That's a good thing, because he's on here alot. What happened to Pat and celticpride? |
