until 1A reaches the same lack of popularity and innovation that 2A has, I wouldn't consider it 'dead'

what do you mean lack of popularity and innovation. there's nothing wrong with 2a. i thinks its amazing how the can coordinate their hands to do such amazing things like i saw in shji's 09 free style

its just lacking new things, its amazing and as i learn 2a the more i appreciate how much time and effort he has to put in to it its just nothing new and a lot of players are doing 1a vs 2a, because it's harder, a lot harder

I completely agree!  I don't think it'll die if we have people who pushing it and inspiring others to do the same.

ahhh quit all of this
I believe that if you feels 1a (or any other divisions) dead, now try to stop yoyoing just for a month
don't think, see, or even play your yoyo... just for a month
i believe most of you can't do that even for a week coolsmiley

after a month throw your yoyo again and you gonna feels like you're ALIVE Grin

yoyoing is dead. yoyoing is alive.

yoyoing is what you make it.

Sometimes for me, it's dead and boring, sometimes I feel like there's too many new things to learn.

it's the dialectic nature of things.

You honestly have no concept of what the word innovation means, do you?
