EDIT:
After 4.25 hours of work tonight, I finally made this into something useful... here ya go folks:
Some of you may have seen when I posted this a loooooong time ago in another forum... but it's been a while... and it's not over here yet... so I thought I'd bring it over.
I also updated it a litttttttle bit from what was originally posted, but I think it should do the job.
the 2 sub-lists (List 1-B and list 2-B) are some easier tricks to work on if you're having a hard time with some of the tricks on the regular list, so that way you can keep practicing and learning new stuff, and not just do the same stuff over and over again.
ALSO
If you can't do everything on list 1... don't let that stop you from trying to learn stuff from list 2.
If you can't do everything on list 3... don't let that stop you from trying to learn stuff on list 4... you get the idea.
feel free to email me or ask me anytime you've got questions about any of these tricks...
I think if people work at this fairly regularly that they could be up to list 4 within a year quite easily.
And REMEMBER! this is just sort of a vague guideline as to where to get some ideas when you want to learn a trick and aren't really sure what to learn next.
This is in no way comprehensive, or official... or anything special.
This list isn't much... but one thing this list IS though... is old.
All these tricks are a good 3-4 or more years old.
WALK OFF THE MAP A LITTLE! don't let this list in any way restrict you... it's just there to give you some ideas of mounts, transitions, and nifty things you can do w/ a yoyo.
FORMAT:
- 4 lists + 2 sublists
- notes marked by *, **, or ***, (full notes at the end of the list)
- If a trick has 2 links, usually the first is a text description or illustration, and the 2nd is a video. (some exceptions - most at the top of the list)
- this list is kind of old now and as such many of the original links (where I learned the tricks originally) have expired and are now replaced by links provided in from the “wayback machine” as such, these links may prove troublesome - I hope not though.
- Also take note of the links… many of the pages have links to lots more tricks than what are provided here in the list… bookmark them and visit them later to learn even more!!

Laceration * (the bad way) Vs.
Laceration ***(the good way)SIDENOTE: A true laceration starts in a mount, (never from just a sleeper) throws slack to create a loop which is then caught. (much like a suicide) If your “laceration” looks almost anything like the first video… it’s wrong. You don’t start from a sleeper, and you don’t “chop” into the mount, you catch it. Thank you.
6.
Double/Triple/Quadruple Plastic Whip (often called one-handed lacerations) but add rotations a la Brent D., Alex B., John N., etc.
7.
Reverse Whips But change the direction of the whip (clockwise/counter-clockwise depending on which hand you use)
8.
Red Clover (right handed) lefty 39.
Under Whips10.
Porcelain Whips 11
Reverse Suicides or click here (except clockwise vs. counter-clockwise - unless a lefty)

Pepto Bismol * (right-handed) lefty 315.

And Whut? * And while it’s not labeled as “And Whut” it is available in a video here7.
Seasick 28.
White Buddha 2nd Generation 29.
Superman 210.
Havoc - video only *'s are for tricks that are easy to get and hard to master. keep practicing.
Although, it should be said that this was only for me... in all reality, ANY trick will be easy with enough practice... I think it just might be that these are some of the ones I wound up practicing a whole lot...
You may do just as well to ignore the *
The **'s are tricks in which their hardness has been hyped.
The ***’s are links to bigger clip videos and include more than JUST the trick mentioned in the link
Final notes:
List 2 might seem really hard when you're a total newbie... but don't give up... try it and you'll be surprised as to what you can pull off!
List 4 has some stuff that's just plain hard.
the insta-mount for Havoc and all of Breath in general still give me trouble to this day.
Have fun everyone!
