Need help

How can I take out and transfer a yyj axle.  My friend switched the colors of my dark magics, and now my both my dark magic axles are stuck in the black side.  How do I take one side out, and put it in the other side without breaking the axle?  Thank you.

Wrap yoyo string around the axle to protect the threads and get pliers. Or you can use a rubber band instead of the string.
