take 2 strings, tie them together at the loop ends, put the yoyos at the end and figure it out from there

Hydra is a substyle of 3a.
Take two yoyo strings and evenly line them up for the desired length you one for want for each yoyo, then cut the strings. Tie both strings together with a hard knot.
Wind both yoyos up till they are touching eachother. hold both in the hand but perticularly one of them in a sort of 5a fashion. Throw one and then the other and try and achieve 3a type of tricks with a different mentality.
its much easier now to do it in the upgraded version of this style : A squared. Using hubstacks to do a pull start for both yoyos.

Alternatively, wind up one yo-yo all the way, throw it (or pull start it), then wind up the other yo-yo and throw it (or pull start it). You get better spin on each one that way.

Don't give up so easily. It may be a pain, but that is why its a alternative style. +1 to Nathan for mentioning that. I've always thrown it the way I said for some reason. I knew about that way but I kinda forgot about it. That is the way that most do it. Hyrda is pretty legit, so is A squared.
