Yo-yoing has been pissing me off so much lately. I'll usually start thinking about how badly i want to yoyo when im at school... and now i can barely pick up a yoyo. There's just no urge anymore. I have no motivation. Plus, the fact that every other bind is a knot around the axle doesn't help at all.
I'd also like to add how much i hate school and life in general right now. I despise my own mother. She makes my life a living hell. I even TRY to talk to her, but no matter what i do all i get is an "I hate you" look. She just finished yelling at me about how i supposedly don't respect my sister. I told her that she doesn't respect me and she went on about how "It's the other way around". "So I don't respect you and that's why you have a phone!?"... Umm.. i dont have a phone you stupid -----.
I want to leave so bad, but im 15 and i can't get a job atm. I don't know what the hell i'd do if i left...
Help?...
-Juan

The best thing i can suggest is to find some one to talk to about all of this and or find some one to stay with for a while...I to went threw a phase like this the only thing that got me threw it was to of my teachers.
If you need to talk to some one you can talk to me on facebook anytime you want. Ive also found that music is a great way to get away from everything.

If it makes you feel any better, just about everyone at your age goes through the same thing. The only ones who don't are the ones with parents who just don't give a crap or are too busy to even care. Just hang in there, it'll get better or at least more bareable as you get older.

Ive also found that music is a great way to get away from everything.
I immediately put my headphones on as soon as i could... I can't even look forward to coming home anymore. I try to stay away as much as i can. And i know that the longer i stay out, the worse i get yelled at, but those few moments that im by myself is what keeps me alive.. And Ben, I ------- love you... I love all of YYF. If it wasn't for YYF i would have quit long ago.

I know where your coming from i have so much wrong in my life, like bad grades, ------- job with no hours, i fight with my gf allot, i dont have too many good friends, i have a pretty much worthless dad, my step dad is really mean, my mom is disabled with back pain and she is always at the hospital and getting surgeries, im the only one there to help her so it gets hard on me, and she is suicidel so i have had to stay home from school and watch her so she doesnt...leave..and ATM she is in the hospital getting a surgery to fix an infection that happend with her last surgery a month ago...so i totally know what ur going thru.. yoyoing is like my only escape your options: try and talk it thru with her, however hopeless it may seem tough up and stick it out, do as she says and maybe it will get better get a workers permit and find some kind of job possibly move in with a close friend or relative and the extremes would be getting emancipated or killing urself...neither are reccomended thats all i got hope i could help

You want to know the best thing for it? Time.
Wait until you're 18-20 then realize how silly it all was. Just about every teen goes through the same phase.

, I can kinda realate but not so much... My mom was always on my case, telling me to do my HW etc.. It kinda just looks like more than it is. Also, Do you argue with your parents when they tell you something? If you do thats one of the things that sets parents off the most. If you stand there and agree with them (or act like you do) they probably won't tell you anything else.
Another thing parents get all worked up about is seeing you grow up. Im pretty sure youv'e heard that from someone before. So pretty much 3 things to do that'll make things alot easier on you are: 1) Listen to your parents 2) try your best 3)Clean your room

dude just stick it out and everything will be cool soon enough, just take it from me and don't use you life sucking at 15 to start doing dumb ---- like I did. I hated life at 15 too so I started drinking and doing drug and getting into alot of trouble, I almost didn't graduate from High School on time and that's after having almost constant straight As us to that point, I got arrested a couple times, and right now at age 21, I'm typing this while I'm sitting in rehab (I'm almost done, thank god for yo-yos or the last 8 weeks would have killed me). So no matter how bad thing might get dude all I'm saying is don't make them worse by making dumb decisions like I and so many others have done.
and as for throwing, if you need a break, take one after a couple days/weeks/maybe even a month you'll start missing throwing and come back to it with more energy and newer ideas than you've ever had before. It's when people force themselves that they end up quitting for good, which would be a very sad thing to see you do as you're so talented

Heh, im in the same phase right now (errm, more of coming out of it). In my personal opinion, surround yourself with close friends. Not people that you talk to about the weather and ----. Music is very helpul, as was said. Don't feel like you have to go to extremes, seriously, addictions blow. Id like to help if i can, seeing as i feel i've been in a very similar situation as yours. PM me and we can talk. On here or Facebook, or Myspace.
Also like Slimer said, doing one ------- up things makes ---- worse and worse.

Juan, if your on facebook still, please speak to me on there.
And or if you have AIM, message me. Just looking out for you dude.
Just one piece of advice, don't quit yoyoing. Try and use the negative feelings and emotions to push yourself out of your hole your in. Depressed feelings are hard to fight back, as well as how life seems to be unfair, but ultimately you must triamphant over your own emotions, and look at the positives. Even if those positives are small, they are positives worth cherishing, and positives worth doing.
Durfee, Ben and Popdada all said amazing advice in the most simplistic ways.

Don't give up bro, try and remember there's always someone who's got it worse. Count your blessings , be thankful for the things you do have. You'll get through , yoyoing is a great stress reliever too so I wouldn't give that up for the world ha.

I feel the same way when I mess up on a piece of furniture or project in the shop, its so easy to cut a piece too short, too narrow, too thin, there are so many things that can go wrong. Some days I just want to give up but I know I cant so I try my best and do what I can to fix the problem and hope for the best, and thats all you really can do.

I feel so bad for you....I had that kind of depression for 2 weeks, after my Grandma passed away, went to Japan, got late on schoolwork, got sick, threw up two times, and I didn't feel like I was having fun with my life. So I just traded stuff over the BST, got new yos, caught up on schoolwork, and started living my life once again.
You'll feel better someday. If this continues for a month, that's bad...you know that you don't have to live with your mom right? you can somehow get tons of money, and just moveaway. You can come back a week later to tell her why you moved away and how she acted like a stupid -----. that might make your mom nicer.

maybe not calling your mother a stupid ----- might help the situation..... I was just saying that...why would anyone say, "Mom, you acted like a stupid ----- so I moved away,"? Common Sense. I was just saying that to explain what to do.
