I thought the idea was to increase rim weight, to add stability and longer spin time. It seems like those holes work against that. However, they do look extremely nice. I love the engravings? in color.

Nobody can agree precisely what yoyoing is, yet everybody wants to argue about it and take it way too seriously to the point that people get tired of talking or even thinking about it. Thus, yoyoing is art.

I threw one at nationals, it felt amazing. The finish is odd it felt like plastic, but it plays really nice for a full size yo-yo. I want one!

I can tell you that the one I have in my hand is amazing!  Its the gold one most people threw at nats.

Over the top? Not a chance!

Engravings? yep. They actually engraved the raw yoyo then sent it to anodize. When it got back the put it back on the lathe and turned off the perfect amount of anno and viola. Small bearing sexy.

I have mine sitting next to me as i type right now and I absolutely love it!
Plays incredibley, fast for the weight, and doesn't feel heavy on the string (to me at least)

This and the unknown have definitely given me a deep love for small bearings.

And yes, these should be out before Christmas.

Agreed, seems counter productive. But they do look sharp.
