Thanks guys so much for the compliments; I really appreciate them. This is an exciting project for me, and I'm glad things have worked out okay for me so far. I have run into my fair share of bumps so far, but it has only given me more experience along the way. To be honest, I didn't really start this project to make money. I did it because I wanted to be able to bring some sweet stuff to the community. The money I make I want only to go back to the price it has cost me to get started, and materials to keep it going. You'd be surprised what it costs to get going, especially if you are doing it the right way. I've always said that anodization is an imperfect process by nature, and I have come to realize that even more as of late. There are a large number of variables, and a lot of work that goes into each custom part I do. I hope to make them as perfect as possible, and really just hope that people enjoy them as much as I do. Unfortunately, I have some sweet pieces done that I can't even show right now. On that note, I will attempt to update this thread with all of my work. Feel free to check back and let me know what you think. I realize that not everyone will enjoy each thing I do, as something as basic as aesthetic appeal is highly subjective. It's all in fun. Oh, and as far as concerns about stripping and beadblasting go, I can strip, and I hope to find a way to beadblast soon. I have people that can do it for me, but setting up my own station would be quite costly. When you figure in costs for a good air compressor, and blasting cabinet (a good one that doesn't leak, requiring a ton of cleanup), as well as ventilation and media, it doesn't come cheap. When it comes to stripping, it can be done, but it is best if you don't. I realize that for some people it may be necessary, in which case I would be willing to do it, but I can make no promises about smoothness of the yoyo, considering you are actually removing material. And eNons3nse, you can blast a part and leave it for as long as you start. Oxidation begins when the part enters the ano bath. It is the dying that needs to take place relatively soon after ano'ing the part. Thanks again everyone for the support, it means a lot. It's not easy to do, so it helps to have some backing and encouragement. P.S. - Hopefully you will see some tattooing from me soon...

ah. i see. i wouldn't have thought you could wait as long as you want, since there is some oxidation and tarnishing happening from just being exposed to oxygen in the air, but i guess that doesn't happen too quickly.

That version of splash is amazing! If it isn't super expensive, I would definately have a couple yoyos done like that.
