I must not be able to clean bearings.
1. De-shield
2. Put in mineral sprits
3. Take out let dry for 10 mins
4. Lightly lube
Yet ALL of my yoyos are hella responsive.

Try a can of compressed air and a more descriptive thread title & I think you'll be alright.

Prepare for some doom!

soak then swirl in OMS, use canned air, put on a pencil hold nozzle at angle so it spins the bearing. one or two, 1/2 second shots and your done then dip needle in thin lube and touch inside of bearing, flick with finger to spin,spreading the lube then good to go.

u need to micro lube it I use a wooden toothpick with enough lube to not even make a drop then I touch it to two of the balls in the bearing to quiet it up some. the bearing noise keeps my girlfriend up at night otherwise I would run them dry without lube... try that. try cleaning a bearing and not lubing it... how do they work for u then??

I added a number 5 for you When you say lightly lube, what do you mean? Lightly lube.  Pin drop. I play with the bearings for a good half an hour and it's still meh. I'll keep on breaking it in. |
