Everyone who wants YoYoNation to do that say I.
That is a good idea and yes I will say I!

I'd subscribe. Even if its $15.
But their gana need some CRAZY idea to keep it at at least 5 pages.

Can’t you just make your own?

Just print off a load of blogs, staple them together and read it on the bus

Print media is dying
Maybe newspapers, but I doubt all of us want to be on the computer ALL the time, I think it'd be nice to chill on my couch reading yyn magazine...And it's a bit more difficult to carry your laptop with you to the bathroom.  Grin

I could go on a longer spill about this, but I'm assuming most of you are too young to know/care that much about the financial part of the world. You should know that many magazines are going out of business. And as the years go by print mediums will die more and more. I think that print will always be around in some shape or form, but I believe that it will slowly fade to a luxury medium and then one day go to the point of a lost art that very few people do. That's my opinion, but basically the internet and digital world are killing print.

Anyway, I'll leave it at saying. Starting up a printed magazine right now would be suicide. Especially one for such a niche market.

Yeah that's the way I feel about it too. I still subscribe to Maximum PC and Road & Track because it's something I don't feel like piddling around with online, and it's nice to read a magazine every so often. Smaller niches definitely work better online Smiley

The only time I read a magazine is in the can…and it needs to be filled with photos of scantily clad women and cars……and articles on beer…

It's a waste of money, you don't need a magazine if you can already read the forum from the internet, and it's technically impossible to yoyo without an internet source to purchase yoyos from meaning every yoyo people already know about were informed by information reading this and other forums.

A magazine would just duplicate it and waste revenue for the site.

I would rejoice if this was made a reality, but let's face the facts. First off, a magazine needs alot of content, and it would be a real challenge to write a magazine monthly that is strictly about yoyos. Second, yoyonation wouldn't make any money. Making a magazine costs a ton of money, and let's face it, the yoyo market isn't nearly as big as some other markets that magazines target. Big magazines like Time and People make alot of money because there is a wide targeted audiece, and yoyonation wouldn't have that. There wouldn't be enough reader for the nation to make a penny. The world of yoyoing is so small compared to hollywood stars or big movies! But, i think a magazine about skill toys could have enough readers and enough content to make a magazine and to make money. So those are just my thoughts on the subject, and yes, i would subscribe for sure  Smiley
