Sili diffrence?

i use flowable regularly but i picked up some red and im wondering what one is more sticky im using it in my FHZ and i want more slip.

~thanks for the move douglas i didnt really know considering it wasent a mod but yeh that makes scnec now. thanks =]

Grey & Copper might have a little more slip. You could always try only putting silicone in one side, or recessing it further.

Well no, I mean recessing the silicone further, deeper into the recess in the yo-yo itself. That way less of it touches the string during play.

IE: Less silicone in the recess.

I wouldn't redo the recess yourself unless you're an experienced modder with a decent drill & very steady hand.

i just tell people who ask me that all silicones are the same and to just use flowable. it's the easiest to apply.

Only thing I don't like about flowable is that it doesn't last as long. Kinda debating on mixing them around but I still haven't heard back from that one dude that tried that...

actualy on another forem a guy called skatz(some inumbers?) went and mixed like every kind of sili you could get. its in a tech fOlD

Ah yep, I heard back from him. Basically mixing flowable with rtv takes the easier/simpler job of flowable and makes it more rigid like rtv.

I think I'm gonna get some of those tiny plastic dixie cups and start doing that from now on.

oh careful when you mix it. it could form air bubbles. What colin leland suggested i do was mix everything together and then transfer it from one cup to another by pouring from a high distance (3 or 4 feet, methinks).
