So what are everyone's thoughts as far as the "Death to Metal" concept is concerned?  Does this yo come close to metal performance? (ie. vibe, multiple string layers, sleep time, grinding...)  Does it destroy other plastics, like say Yoyojams?

The Protostar (which i've tried) is very good. It's too good to be a plastic, in my opinion. The knowledge that it is indeed made out of plastic makes it feel the slightest bit awkward. But play is just unbelievable.

After a couple of months of playing just plastics and moving up to a YYJ Legacy again, metals seem kind of obsolete to me. With these Death to Metal yoyos, knowing YYF, playing with a plastic vs a metal will probably not matter as much anymore. That's just from playing with just the PGM v1. With these new plastics, I'm sure they've already outperformed the PGM by miles.

In short- the bearing's a bootleg KK.

In long- it's not a bootleg kk. but it has the same effect without killing suicide loops. It's a great bearing though.
