Where has yoyonation wronged you...where has the website wronged you...where have we in our communications wronged you?

Please let us know!!

If it's a matter you'd rather not post, please PM me or Weber.

We could really use the feedback!!!

Although I really do appreciate positive feedback (if you even have it), I would rather this post only have the rants and moans that you have regarding the site.

Remember, we're creating this for YOU guys...what would you like to see?  We'll include everything in our issues tracking list. Smiley

Thanks to everyone in advance who posts!!!   Cheesy

Uh....the login bar at the top of the store pages doesn't seem to remember who i am, i have to type my name and pass everytime manually. But if i hit login, and get taken to the "wrong username or password" screen, that has everything auto completed.

Edit: Ok either you fixed that very quickly, or it was already fixed when i made the post.

The "compare" buttons look a bit weird in Firefox.

Um...nope, i think that's it.

biggest thing for me is firefox compatibility
quite a few parts of the site looks out of place in firefox

umm, lack of paypal support might be a problem for some but i know ur working on that so i wont complain Wink

i love how YYN have a wide variety of yoyo colours but id like to be able to see them in these colours because its hard to place an order for something not knowing what it looks like

a page that describes shipping would be very helpful, like, id like to see some different shipping methods available and a rough delivery time for each method

cant really think of anything else atm  wink

Yeah, that's something i've always wanted from most stores. An option for slow, cheap shipping.

Like...if i'm just oredering string and pads or something, i don't really wanna pay uber shipping to get it here ridiculously quick, becuase i'm just stocking up on spares.

But if i order several awesome yoyos, (like yesterday Tongue) then i do want it quick, and i'll pay the full whack. So like Nem said.

slow cheap shipping

that's something we will definitely look into.
The prices we are already charging a is already pretty low, but I know, as a customer myself, that low low low is always the best.

thanks for the heads up. keep it comin!

Whenever i go into the store and try to post a review of anything it takes me to a different page that tells me to log on, so i do that and it keep coming up that either my username or password is wrong. but it works on the forum.

Please note that the forum and the store are TWO different login names / passwords.

Unless you create them to be the same thing.

Let me know if you need help!

IM me at PatooD2 (AIM) or neyostyle@hotmail.com (MSN) for further help, or to just say "hello" Smiley

I hope to talk to you soon!

ever thought about linking the 2 mysql databases? Wink that way you only need one login to access all areas of the site

im sure its pretty easy to do, instead of having your store access its own user database, you can just get it to pull the info from the forum one. and any store specific information can get dumped into its own seperate table

funny, i asked pat about this same thing a while ago.

it's definitely confusing, having the two seperate accounts. an annoyance at best. the best concept is to have it completely integrated into one login. even if it's 2 seperate databases, you should be able to easily add code to replicate the basic user info (id, password) over from the store account (the initial account set up) into the forum user database. Make this seamless to the end user, even though it's actually still functioning as 2 seperate DB's. just a thought.

other ways yoyonation has wronged me:
1) it makes my white castles taste flat and rubbery
2) it demagnetized all the magnets on my refrigerator. i now have a bunch of plastic squares.
3) its beginning to distract me from work, as i now feel the need to participate in the horrifically awesome forums.

please correct the above deficiencies. by a) shipping freshly-made white castles from the nearest counter service area b) sending me some cool yoyonation magnets, and 3) try to make the forums more boring so i don't keep logging into them in front of management, saying "who cares if the san mateo data center has 3 T1 lines down, someone could've made an interesting post..."

haha  Tongue  i love you guys.

The only way you guys have wronged me is by selling out of Blue Speeders.

I was going to get it instead of the Takeshi FHZ...

This has been on our issues tracking list since even BEFORE we launched (we have a list of about 60 + issues before version 1.0 releases)

We know this is an issue, and yes, Trev, and annoyance, and we're working to fix it.  It's difficult right now because Weber, who does MOST of the programming, is going through huge life changes, as you'll see soon in another post Smiley

We'll fix it for v 1.0...don't worry Cheesy

THanks for being patient with us - all of you!

1.) Sorry!  Whenever you come visit, I promise I'll buy you White Castles Smiley  (seriously!)

2.) I think perhaps you've got a great idea!  I'm in the process of putting together some yoyonation "swag"...perhaps magnets can be part of it Cheesy

3.)  Thanks!  I don't think this is our fault though...it's really everyone's fault in contributing to this / your issue.  blame all of the cool people on our forum Cheesy
