I like both of these yo-yo's because they are small i am leaning more toward the DV888 because of the weight and width what do you think???

helpful. Personally, I like the hectic more. I have used both yoyos and i personally love the way the hectic feels as supposed to the DV888. it feels much more solid when your playing with it than the DV888 which in my opinion feels kinda hollow. like a pyro light. another thing to consider is the fact that due to the flat rims on a DV888, you really have the same if not less catch area than with the hectic, which in my opinion makes the hectic more playable. both are great, thats just my two cents. |

Hectic is my favorite yoyo ever, but others swear by the Dv888, so it comes down to preference. Since both are available with either a small or large bearing, I'd say get the Dv888 if you like a butterfly shape and get the Hectic if you like an H-shape.

honestly they are both soo great it would be hard to decide the dv888 is great but the hectic is faster and more agile personally i liked the hectic more the small bearing version especially

The Hectic is everything I wanted the Bapezilla to be. As far as I'm concerned, there is no such thing as a large bearing version.
It's dense, and the response grips HARD for more than two thirds of the string (with silicone).
I beat mine up pretty bad, and it's got a little wiggle (much like the Bape).
But if you like wider yo-yos and are not feeling adventurous, you can surely stick with the DV888.

Get the DV888. its smoother, and more forgiving. The Hectic just feels awkward.

I prefer the Hectic, but probably only because I also have a G5, three 888s, skylines, and some stuff I can't recall atm.
I own both and love both. You will not go wrong either way. The Hectic is so different you'll love it, but the DV888 is just so right.
