Things that annoy the HELL out of you

Honestly, if they could care less about what they type, I could care less about reading it. I don't need to read that crap. If you're trying to convey a point, you need to use proper English or you will lose several people along the way due to their lack of interest in reading garbage.

That's how I see it lol. When somebody has that kind of mistake in their writing and they're trying to prove a point or something, I instantly ignore it. I also want to kill it with fire.

Makes me want to fill their lawn up with forks, spikes down.

I don't mean correcting someone on the internet. I mean if I'm speaking with my sister and she says something that makes no sense. Verbally. For example, and yes my sister has said this before: "you act like you're a fives years old"

It seems like people arguing against corrections just have an anti-intellectual view on the world. They want to do their own thing and not learn from others, or their own mistakes.

Yeah, I'm with you on that. It's not just the spelling; it's a sign of a much bigger problem. I get very annoyed by the anti-intellectual mindset. It really blows my mind that there are so many people who are completely incapable of writing properly in their own first language... and they're perfectly content with that!

One side of me wants to say, hey, if they're happy, I should be more accepting of the source of their bliss...

The other side of me wants to scream.   

It really isn't the spelling itself. If someone's English is poor because they were raised speaking, say, Japanese,  it's all good. 

But then, when their English is poor because they're just too damn lazy to learn their own mother tongue, that's another story.  If they expect me to decode everything they write because they can't be bothered to learn some simple rules.... it's lawn-o-forks time.

A little social pressure to Get It Right is not a bad thing. This is how we help one another to learn, grow, and improve our skill sets.

And also, when you're sitting on your couch, you set the remote right next to you, you don't move for 3 hours, and you can't find it. It some how got on the kitchen counter and you don't remember getting food. Or maybe that's just me who has these "space out periods". I'm going to be driving to a friends house one of these days, and end up in Mexico and not remember how I got there. If I ever post in Spanish, will one of you come rescue me?

On Subject: the group of the other 12 (only around 15 boys in my class) boys in my class whoes own insecurities make them think that anything that isnt "cool" is ---. --- is an offensive and wrongly used word by most people.
It especially pisses me off that they call me "---" for yoyoing because its not "cool".

And of course I would. I'd be in Mexico, and have some of the best Taquitos available. And I'm going to hold you to this.

Edit: You should just call them "---" because calling people "---" isn't "cool" either. Mostly joking, but...
