Got a sample with the bearing...and a cool orange string.
I thought the same thing, 10 bucks isnt bad for a ceramic bearing.

Fully ceramic bearings are capable of longer spin times, plus the break in more quickly. Its possible it could make the difference between you hitting or missing a trick; then again why depend on a bearing when you can depend on practice and dedication? Afro

I agree with you practice and dedication are important .... but equipment does count and this is true in any sport. even underwater BB stacking!

Egg_Head, are you "the guy"?
I remember this from an old post about the gap wax, and you posted this:

I baught a bottle and i dig it. I have a Lyn Fury and it works awsome. I seriosly got a little more "noticeable" string time. I did my little routine and when i bound it, it slapped my hand faster than normal. It makes less friction plane and simple, if it wasn't for friction yoyo's would spin forever. When i was wipping it off it slipped right out of my hand, so i what i want to see is someone do a grind or something with a glove because i know it will be sweet.  You have to be pretty good to notice it though, I have a hard throw and on the string a lot. After I baught the wax the same place, Terrapin X, had a bearing for pretty cheap and i baught that too and that thing is better than anything. My Lyn Fury will sleep for 8 min, seriously. Check out the bearing. Its on ebay. I saw the discussion on the gap wax and had to let you all know that it works good and the thing to buy is the bearing, its way better than the dif-e-o koncave and the 8ball. Nice to see other yosters out there. Take it easy all

I would guess that Frank Difeo would know since I'm sure that the seller is paying him a fee for the use of the patent...

Underwater BB stacking originated in Hong Kong where there was very little room for other sports.  Contestants would gather in a home with a bathroom sink to match there skills. Speed and finesse was of paramount importance. The practice of greasing the BB's was used but later outlawed in the late 60's.  To get an edge the real black belt stackers used ceramic BB's

Do you have a KK or 10 ball to compare it to, either way, let me know you're thoughts.

FlightRisk....didn't mean to be harsh, Egg_Head seems a little biosed Smiley, appreciate the thoughts.

im pretty sure that a full ceramic would be great with sleep timmes but i also feel they would break (like smash break) very easily compared to a usual half stee half ceramic.
