When you are siliconing several hundred halves at the same time, it can get a bit messy. So it might just be a tiny piece that happened to slip in my accident

the caps are removable, need to kinda pry them off with a really thin flat screwdriver.  If you're not careful you can easily scratch the yoyo or the caps.

currently I play without caps.

Thanks.  I can't promote the fact they will come off (because someone will damage their yo-yo doing it and blame me ) but with reasonable care and more touch than brute force you should be able to remove the caps. For those looking for alternate art, go look for the 44 Clash LEs or buy a FAST 201 and grab a paintbrush
