It play the weight, and placement of it, make them both play unique. The severe, despite being heavier, plays lighter due to its larger volume and decreased concentration of weight. Apples and oranges.

When you are siliconing several hundred halves at the same time, it can get a bit messy. So it might just be a tiny piece that happened to slip in my accident 

Other then that the caps fit in super tight.
