I think your silly spending 175 bucks on a diffrent Anno job ... CLYW is sitting back just laughing right now ... its like bottling air and selling it.... you got a peak with a diffrent anno job nothing more. i dont know who is more to blame here CLYW for charging so much or the people who bought them.

They could of at least charged the same 110 bucks for it  Undecided

to each his own and you know what they say about opinons... just thought id express mine.

Have a great day.

They could not charge 110 for it, since to make those yoyos cost more for them remember  they only made 3 of each . They have to pay for the paint, for the anodizer etc...
I'm sure CLYW not laughing on anyone. I think you are just being jealous for others who can play with those nice yoyos...  and jealousy is bad!

No not jealous Krisztian in my opinon i think the yoyos are hideous.. i like the way peaks play im only speaking of thier colorway oh ya and thier price  Grin those yoyos were made for the collector not the player and i guess thats fine if your a collector with gobs of money to throw around.

I guess im more of a "for the masses" type of person and not the "select few".

Have a great day.

Well let's get an other example might you will understand how things work.

I personally like to spend 200$ for pair of shoes just because of I love the colors and the design. I know that I can buy the same pair of shoes for 90$ but if I do that I will have shoes that everyone has and I won't look fancy.
I know that the 200$ and the 90$ shoes are the same and both really good for walking but I prefer to wear the limited edition one. That is what I like!

So are you saying now that I'm ridiculous because you like the 90$ shoes? If I would think on your way you would be ridiculous in my eyes. But I don't do that, I respect your and others preference!

I see it going the other way more often, people with $200 shoes ragging on the people who want $90 shoes. It works both ways people. Some like to spend money while others are frugal. You money spenders may encounter a time in your life when frugal is the way to go, fancy colors or not.

We are not tallking about shoes there are MILLIONS of shoes and shoe manufactures it has no bearing on the very SMALL yoyo community there are not millions of yoyos. so what if i was like you and i wanted one of those limited editions so that i wasnt like everyone else .... but your charging a price that is out of my range. so now i cannot afford to be diffrent right?

its not about being diffrent sir...

ridiculous. buying a yoyo just to try and profit? that's some lame arse bull right there. Personally I do not like the look of the yo, but obviously he bought the yo solely to profit and I think that's just sad.

It's just a yo-yo not a baby.

You're saying I shouldn't be selling babies for money?  shocked idiot2

sometimes it is. both collectors and throwers strive to make themselves stand out from the crowd. there are LOTS of ways to be different without spending the 175 for a peak, but spending the 175 is a way to be different.

JUST LIKE generic shoes and name brand ones. you could be different and buy generic shoes from a place no one goes to, or paint, dye, bleach, mix match, etc. your shoes however you like. you could also spend 200$ on a pair that was prepared the way you like already.

individuality is not whats at stake here

also, MILLIONS of shoes for BILLIONS of people. TENS of yos for HUNDREDS of people. Kriztians example was very well stated, and made sense. perhaps if you thought before ranting you may get something done.

this thread in its wrongs or its rights is serving a purpose and its getting people to talk about the topic so it is getting something done...

doesnt matter as long as its being talked about.

i understand his opinon is biased hes on the CLYW team and i probably offended him, and he probably doesnt pay for his yoyos they are more then likely given to him. so i take his opinon with a grain of salt.

i got you to talk about it didnt I?

I am pleased for the open discussion.  The whole purpose of this thread is to find out who were buyers of these scarce few Peaks.  I respectfully request, of all you intelligent posters, please refrain from trying to shame one another.  Trying to shame one another tends to defeat the purpose of this thread.

There is no shame in acquiring, playing with, or admiring any yoyo - fancy or not.  There's no shame in wearing fancy shoes, or plain ones - in having minty fresh breath, or bad breath.  Wait, scratch that last one.

So far, only 2 civilians (persons not CLYW owners, staffpersons, or team members) have admitted they bought these super-limited Peaks.  If any poster wishes to suggest it was somehow wrong or shameful to buy these rare Peaks, I respectfully request that such a suggestion be expressed in a different thread.

As for this thread, the plain shod and the fancy shod, alike, are welcome to post.  Please, though, let's try not to shame each other.  We're intelligent people, and we're above such tactics.

Respectfully,
Bud
